As a dietitian, I strive to share the best of the best foods, snacks, supplements, and health-supporting products with you! I am always looking for extremely nutrient-dense foods and I am passing on these fantastic finds to you. I hunt for options that deliver the optimal ratio of proteins, fats, and carbs, plus all the vitamins and minerals we need too. The goal is eat as many whole, minimally processed foods as possible, aiming for foods which contain zero (or minimal) added sugar, artificial sweeteners or inflammatory oils.

Vegan, unflavored, no sugar, gluten free, no artificial anything… A TRUE KEEPER! 140 calories and 20g protein, blends into smoothies perfectly.

KOS Protein

Tasty, plant-based protein powder with clean ingredients. Great for smoothies, it blends well, and supports muscle recovery.


Sunwarrior Vegan Protein

One ingredient, unflavored protein, yes please! This is a concentrate (isolate is better) but it is hard to beat the lack of anything artificial in this product.

Naked Whey

Grass-Fed Whey

If you don’t like unflavored, this vanilla option is a great one! Only whey concentrate, monk fruit, and vanilla. Loving that is is also organic.

Pea Protein Powder

Excellent choice for those seeking a plant-based protein source. It's smooth, easy to mix, and has a pleasant taste without any artificial aftertaste.

Electrolytes

These zero sugar capsules are fantastic for airplane travel days or before bed. I recommend taking 3 at a time for a proper dose of all 5 key electrolytes.

After Gatorade made Gatorlytes, Body Armor followed up with their own version of this high electrolyte drink. Another fantastic option as well!
